Shivananda Maharaj is a renowned spiritual Guru and multi-faceted humanitarian. Shivananda Maharaj gives a way of peace of social and family life. Born in 1956 at Badu village of Mahyamgram, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India, in a Brahaman family. He took over his father Late Tatpurushananda Maharaj founded Maa Kalyeneswari mandir after his education life and started an ashram name as Shivanandashevashram for the service to his village people. The ashram now active in whole of West Bengal by branches, offers educational and self-development programs poor people by the help of his rich Sishyas and Donation. He is helping youth turn away from gang violence, drugs and alcohol and become as his family man. Ashram are engaged in different activities like Cloths are being distributed among the needy fellows in the event of Durga Puja and Id. Text books are being donated to the poverty-stricken students Free medical facilities are being provided to the needy fellows, arrange Blood Donation Camp once a year. Ambulance service is available for 24 hours,once in a year we arrange Eye Operation Camp at free of cost and spectacle also are being donated where required. Ashram donated Relief Fund and taking an immediate Relief in any serious natural stupendous affairs. An Old age Home is under construction and will be opened for the old and aged persons soon. Everyday Anna Bhog is being distributed at free of cost and arrange marriage of the distressed women. Shivananda Maharaj travels to every corner of India whole of the year to share his message of social responsibility, and that all great spiritual traditions share common goals and values.
